Welcome to Morocco! Your 10-day private tour begins with a transfer from Casablanca airport to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we may visit some of the city’s top attractions, including the majestic Hassan II Mosque, the Morocco Mall, or a scenic beach promenade.
If time didn’t permit full exploration on Day 1, we’ll visit additional sites in Casablanca this morning. Afterward, we head to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and a region known for its vineyards. We’ll stop briefly before continuing to the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, where you can explore the well-preserved ruins and mosaics on your own or with a local guide. By evening, we arrive in Fes and check in to a traditional riad or hotel.
Today is dedicated to discovering the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco: Fes. Our guided tour includes highlights such as the medieval Medina, the Nejjarine Fountain, Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, and the famous Karaouine Mosque (exterior visit only). You’ll have the option to enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant within the bustling Medina. In the afternoon, we visit the souks and the modern district of Fes Jdid before returning to your accommodation.
After breakfast, we travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” Our journey continues through cedar forests and the town of Midelt, followed by a scenic drive along the Ziz Valley to Erfoud—renowned for its fossil industry. We’ll also explore the traditional market of Rissani before reaching Merzouga, where we’ll spend the night at a hotel near the desert dunes.
Following breakfast, we switch from 4×4 to camelback (optional) to cross the dunes of Erg Chebbi, guided by experienced camel handlers. After about 90 minutes, we reach the desert camp, just in time to witness the magical sunset. Dinner is served under the stars, followed by a night in traditional Berber tents amidst the Sahara sands.
Rise early to watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning to a local hotel for breakfast and a shower. We then journey through Rissani and the palm groves of Tinghir en route to the breathtaking Todra Gorges—the highest and narrowest canyons in Morocco. After lunch, we drive through the picturesque Dades Valley, stopping at the unique rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers.” Overnight stay in a hotel in the valley.
Today we pass through Kalaat M’Gouna, the Valley of Roses, on our way to Ouarzazate, known as “the Hollywood of Africa.” Here we may visit the Atlas Film Studios and the impressive Taourirt Kasbah. We then continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, Morocco’s largest and most famous kasbah. After our visit, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass to reach vibrant Marrakech. Overnight in a local riad or hotel.
A full-day guided tour of Marrakech includes visits to the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, the bustling Jemaa el-Fna square, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the colorful souks. We also explore the modern district of Gueliz, the Menara Gardens, and the world-renowned Majorelle Garden. After lunch, enjoy free time to explore or relax. You may end the evening with dinner at the square’s food stalls or opt for a traditional hammam experience.
Today, we head west to the Atlantic coast for a day trip to Essaouira, a charming seaside town known for its laid-back vibe, blue-and-white medina, historic ramparts, and fresh seafood. After exploring the city’s souks, Skala fortress, and fishing port, we return to Marrakech for our final night.
After breakfast, we drive you to Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport, where your unforgettable 10-day journey through Morocco comes to an end.
