Your Moroccan adventure begins with a guided tour of Marrakech. You’ll explore the city’s most iconic sights, including the bustling Jemma el Fna square, the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, traditional souks, grand palaces, and insightful museums. The tour also takes you through modern areas such as Gueliz, and visits to serene spots like the Menara Gardens and the vibrant Majorelle Garden. After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy the afternoon exploring the city at your own pace.
Today we journey through the breathtaking Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, en route to the UNESCO-listed ksar of Ait Benhaddou—famous for its appearance in The Gladiator and Game of Thrones. We then head to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Film Studios and a historical Kasbah. From there, we travel through the Valley of Roses—renowned for its annual rose festival—before arriving at Dades Gorge, where we’ll spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel.
The day begins with a scenic drive to Todra Gorge, a dramatic canyon popular among nature enthusiasts and climbers. We continue through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, a desert gateway known for its fossils. You’ll have the chance to visit a local workshop that crafts home décor and souvenirs from these ancient relics.
Next, we head to Rissani to explore its traditional souk before continuing to Merzouga. At the edge of the Sahara, we’ll switch to camels for a ride into the dunes, guided by locals. We’ll spend the night in a desert camp, staying in Berber tents, enjoying a starlit dinner and live tribal music around the campfire.
Today is dedicated to exploring the vast Merzouga Desert. You can choose between relaxing or adventuring—by camel or 4×4. We’ll visit the village of Khamlia, known for its rich musical traditions. Later, we’ll witness a spectacular Saharan sunset before settling into a cozy riad or hotel for the night.
After breakfast, we begin our drive north, passing through Rissani and Erfoud, stopping in Midelt—nestled in the Atlas Mountains—for lunch. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the quiet town or relax at a local hotel where we’ll spend the night.
After exploring more of Midelt, we journey to Azrou, where you’ll have a chance to visit a cedar forest and possibly encounter native Barbary monkeys. We’ll continue through the scenic town of Ifrane, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before arriving in Fes for an overnight stay in a local hotel or riad.
Discover the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco on a guided tour of Fes, the country’s oldest city. Highlights include the Royal Palace gates, the Jewish Quarter, Al Quaraouine University, the famous tanneries, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. Spend your afternoon exploring the ancient medina before enjoying dinner at a traditional local restaurant. Overnight in Fes.
After breakfast, we depart Fes and drive through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen—the picturesque “Blue Pearl” of Morocco. You’ll have time to explore its charming medina and stay overnight at a local riad or hotel.
Enjoy a relaxing morning in Chefchaouen before we head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, for a brief tour of its main landmarks and attractions. After lunch, we continue on to Casablanca—the country’s economic hub—where we’ll spend the night.
On our final day, we’ll visit Casablanca’s top attractions, including the grand Hassan II Mosque. After lunch, we’ll make our way back to Marrakech, marking the end of your Moroccan journey.
