Travel towards the Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland,” to visit the famous cedar forest, home to Berber apes. Continue through the Tizi N’Talghemt Mountain Pass and Ziz Gorge, with a break for photos and local mint tea. Pass through Midelt before arriving at Merzouga, where you’ll spend the night at a desert camp.
