Day 1: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Begin your journey with a scenic drive through the Rif Mountains, passing the city of Tetouan. We’ll stop at the foot of the Rif Mountains in Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-painted medina with strong Spanish architectural influences from the era of “Spanish Morocco.” Explore the colorful artisanal shops and enjoy the evening at a rooftop café or your riad, taking in the refreshing mountain breeze and stunning views.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, travel towards Volubilis, crossing the Rif villages and Ouazzane. At Volubilis, explore the remarkable Roman ruins and learn about Morocco’s rich history. Continue to Meknes for lunch and visit the historical medina walls, the impressive Bab el Mansour gate, and the Moulay Ismail mausoleum. Late afternoon, arrive in Fes for your overnight stay.

Day 3: Fes – Guided City Tour

Discover Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city, wandering its maze of alleys and narrow streets. Visit the Royal Palace gate, the first Jewish Mellah built in Morocco, and cultural sites including Al Qaraouine University—the oldest university in the region. Other highlights include the famous Tanneries, Attarine Museum, and Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, visit traditional cooperatives and enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Medina.

Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Merzouga

Drive towards the Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland.” Explore the famous cedar forest, home to Barbary apes, then continue through the Tizi N’Talghemt Pass and the Ziz Gorge with a stop for photos and local mint tea. Pass through Midelt and continue to Merzouga, arriving at your desert camp for the night.

Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

Wake early to enjoy breakfast at a local hotel before heading to Ouarzazate. En route, visit Berber villages and the breathtaking Todra and Dades Gorges. Overnight stay at a hotel in Dades Valley with dinner included.

Day 6: Dades Gorges – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou

Day 7: Ait Ben Haddou – Essaouira

Cross the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass to reach the Atlantic coast and the charming city of Essaouira. After checking into your riad, enjoy the sunset from the city walls (Murallas), then savor a dinner of fresh seafood and take an evening stroll through the peaceful medina.

Day 8: Essaouira Guided Tour

Explore the historic city of Mogador, named by the Portuguese, known for its stunning blue-and-white medina and Atlantic beaches. Discover its ancient citadel walls and vibrant markets. Overnight at your local riad.

Day 9: Essaouira – Marrakech

After lunch at the port, depart for Marrakech with minimal stops along the way. Check into your riad or hotel upon arrival for your overnight stay.

Day 10: Marrakech Guided Tour

Spend the day touring Marrakech’s highlights including Jemaa el-Fnaa square, Koutoubia Mosque, bustling souks, palaces, and museums. Explore the modern district of Gueliz, the Menara Gardens, and the Majorelle Garden. After lunch, enjoy free time to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 11: Marrakech – Airport Transfer
