Along the way, we’ll stop to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, a historic fortified village made famous by films like Gladiator and the HBO series Game of Thrones. We continue to Ouarzazate to visit the famous Atlas Film Studios and a local kasbah. Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga Desert

We continue by 4×4 to the spectacular Todra Gorge, a colorful and narrow canyon popular among climbers and nature lovers. Then we head through the scenic Ziz Valley to reach Erfoud, a desert gateway town known for its fossils. In Erfoud, we visit a local factory where fossil-based decor and artisan items are crafted—ideal for souvenir shopping. From there, we continue to Rissani to visit its bustling traditional souk, and finally head to Merzouga. Upon arrival, we switch to camels and begin a sunset trek across the dunes with experienced guides. Arriving at our desert camp, we enjoy an unforgettable night in Berber tents, complete with a traditional dinner and tribal music around the campfire under the stars.

This day is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga desert. You’ll have the freedom to relax or take part in optional activities such as additional camel rides or a 4×4 desert tour.
